Boxycharm Try On!

Hello Beauties!

As promised, here is my look that I did using the PUR Cosmetics x Boxycharm palette!

Overall, I don’t really like the palette as much as I thought I would.  The colors are great, but I found it very difficult to blend.  As I packed on the color, the pigmentation was perfect, but when I started to blend it, a lot of the color got removed.  If you didn’t hear all of the reviews about the Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture Palette, this was a big problem with it.

I used Purfect and Belle shades as the transition shade and then went in with Duet on the inner and outer corners, creating a halo effect.  Next, I applied the shade Charmer in the center of my lid and inner corner as a highlight.  Lastly, I took Duet again and applied it on the lower lash line.

I finished the look off with some liquid liner and the Butter London mascara that I also got in my box.

The mascara isn’t bad!  I don’t like it for my top lashes, but I think I found my new bottom lash mascara!  It worked like a dream on my bottom lashes!

Here’s the finished look!

Did you try wetting your brush? A wet brush can even blend a colored chalk. 😊
I love this post and hope to see more like this. 💖

    1. I’m glad you enjoyed the post!! I will do more like this with my other boxes too! I did wet my brush for the center color, but the brown just didn’t blend well.

Aww! It’s a pity the brown blends baldly . Well , the final look photo is very nice despite that.

  2. Hmm I did try to use another color with my lid color and the lid color blended away! I didn’t know if it was me or the brushes lol.

    1. I’m sure it’s the palette. I had the same problem. I think I may try a different technique next time I use it.
